Shirts for the dock, the ramp and the tree stand
Jersey Hollow is an online store for people who spend their mornings near water or in the woods and want a shirt that looks the part. Our range centres on the long sleeve fishing jersey: a crew neck shirt with an all-over print that runs across the front, the back and both sleeves. The prints follow what you see on a good day outside: fish scales, lake ripples, topo lines, river stones, leaves, marsh grass and feathers. Many of those jerseys come in a Custom Name version, so the back can carry your name, your partner’s name or the name of the kid who caught the first crappie of the season.
We keep the store focused. You will not find a hundred unrelated gadgets here, only shirts and a few matching pieces built around two pastimes: fishing and hunting. That focus lets us describe every product plainly, keep the size range consistent and answer questions without guessing. If something on this page or on a product page is unclear, the fastest route is an email to our support address. A person reads it and replies.
This page explains what the range covers, who usually shops with us, how the name fields work, what happens after you order and which policies stand behind every purchase. It does not tell a founding story or introduce a team, because what matters when you buy a shirt is what you get and how we handle it if something is not right.
What the range covers
The catalogue is organised into seven collections, so you can go straight to the kind of water or season you care about. Around thirty-two products sit across them, and each product page lists its sizes, colourways and any personalisation fields.
| Collection | What it holds | Typical buyer |
|---|---|---|
| Lake Fishing Jerseys | Long sleeve crew neck jerseys with bass, crappie and ripple prints, including Custom Name tournament-style designs | Weekend bass and panfish anglers, fishing clubs ordering matching names |
| River & Stream Jerseys | Trout, stone and current prints, plus a Custom Name trout stream jersey | River and fly anglers who wade early and drive home late |
| Saltwater & Offshore Jerseys | Inshore and offshore prints, and a Custom Name offshore crew jersey with an optional boat name on the chest | Boat crews, charter friends, coastal families |
| Hunting Jerseys | Leaf, marsh grass and feather prints, and a Custom Name deer camp jersey with an optional camp name | Deer camp and duck blind regulars |
| Hoodies & Quarter-Zips | Hooded long sleeve jersey, quarter-zip pullover, pullover hoodie, full-zip hoodie and a custom name hoodie | Anyone who needs a layer for cold launches or late-season sits |
| Women, Youth & Family | Women’s fitted long sleeve jersey, youth long sleeve jerseys and the Custom Name Family Fishing Crew jersey | Families planning a lake trip or a matching crew photo |
| Caps, Tees & Shorts | Trucker caps, a short sleeve all-over print tee and board shorts | Summer days on the boat and the drive to the ramp |
Cuts and sizes
Long sleeve jerseys use a unisex adult cut in sizes S, M, L, XL, 2XL, 3XL, 4XL and 5XL, and every size carries the same price, so you never pay more for a bigger shirt. Hoodies and the quarter-zip pullover run S to 4XL. The women’s fitted long sleeve jersey runs XS to 2XL. Youth long sleeve jerseys come in XS, S, M, L and XL. The family crew jersey covers youth XS to XL and adult S to 3XL, so a whole family can order the same print in one go. The tee and board shorts run S to 3XL, and caps are one size with an adjustable back.
We do not publish numeric garment measurements. Our size guide explains how to compare with a shirt you already own and how to decide between two sizes. A common question is whether to size up if you layer a hoodie under the jersey on cold mornings. That is a personal choice: lay your favourite layered shirt flat, compare it with the size you are considering, and pick the one that matches how you like it to sit.
What we say about fabric, and what we do not
You will notice that our product pages describe the cut, the neckline, the print placement and the options, and say very little about fibre. That is deliberate. We only describe what we can stand behind, so we do not list fabric percentages or weights, and we do not make claims about how the fabric performs on the water or in the field. If a specific fabric detail matters to your decision, email us before you order and we will tell you what we can confirm.
Care is simple: wash cold and inside out on a gentle cycle, skip the bleach, hang to dry or tumble dry on low, and do not iron over the print. Our hunting jerseys are casual shirts, not safety or blaze garments, so follow the visibility rules where you hunt.
Who usually shops with us
Most of our customers fall into a handful of groups, and the store is set up around what each of them needs.
Anglers buying for themselves
Weekend bass and crappie anglers, river regulars, inshore and offshore crews. They usually know their size, pick a print that fits their water and add their name on the back. Many come back for a hoodie or a cap in the same pattern.
Hunters and camp regulars
Deer camp and duck blind regulars often order a Custom Name deer camp jersey with the camp name on the sleeve, so the whole group wears the same shirt around the fire. A camp of four or five friends can place one order with each person’s name in its own line item.
Family members buying gifts
Spouses, kids and grandparents buy a large share of our jerseys for Father’s Day, birthdays, retirements and Christmas. The person ordering is often not the person wearing the shirt, which is why we put so much effort into the size guide and the 24-hour change window. If you order a birthday jersey in XL and realise a few hours later that he wears 2XL, an email within 24 hours of placing the order lets us change it. If you only notice after the parcel arrives, the 60-day return window covers you instead.
Clubs and small crews
A fishing club of five friends ordering matching lake jerseys, each with a different name, is a typical crew order. We handle these as normal retail orders: add each personalised jersey to the cart separately, check each name, and check out once. We do not take bulk uniform contracts, team sponsorship work or orders that need someone else’s logo.
How the name on your jersey gets there
Personalisation is built into the product page of every Custom Name product. You do not need to leave notes at checkout or send a separate email with the name. Here is what each field does.
- Name on back. Required on Custom Name products. Letters only, up to 14 characters, printed in capitals.
- Sleeve text or Camp name. Optional. The add-on price is shown next to the field and is only charged if you fill it in.
- Boat name. Optional, on the chest of the offshore crew jersey. Again, the add-on price shows beside the field and is only charged when the field has text. Leave it empty and you pay nothing extra.
- Lettering colour. On some products you choose White, Black or Sand at no extra cost.
- Trip year. Optional and free on the family crew jersey, handy for a summer lake trip set.
As you type, a live preview shows your text over the product photo. That preview is the only visual check before production. We do not send a separate proof or mockup, and we print exactly what is typed. If you type BRANDEN when the name is BRANDON, the shirt will say BRANDEN. Read every name slowly before you check out. If you spot a mistake within 24 hours of placing the order, email us and we will correct it.
What we cannot print
We print our own designs plus your own name or text. We cannot add brand names, logos, trademarks, team or league names, tournament trail names, camo brand patterns, a professional angler’s or hunter’s name, or artwork created by someone else. If a request like that comes in, we will ask you to choose different text or cancel that item. Our intellectual property policy explains the reasons in more detail.
From checkout to your front porch
Once you place an order, it goes into processing, which takes 1-3 business days. After that it ships from the USA, and transit takes 7-14 business days to the US, Canada, Australia and New Zealand. Shipping is free on every order, with no minimum spend. We do not ship to other countries at this time.
| Stage | Time | What you can do |
|---|---|---|
| Order placed | Day 0 | Check your confirmation email; email us within 24 hours to cancel or change size, colour or a name |
| Processing | 1-3 business days | View the status in My Account or on the order tracking page |
| In transit | 7-14 business days | Email us any time for an update on your order |
| Delivered | Return window starts | You have 60 days to start a return if the shirt is not right |
We do not promise a particular carrier or tracking number in advance. You can follow the order status on the order tracking page or in your account, and if you want more detail, email us and we will look into it. A parcel to Australia or New Zealand can take the full 14 business days in transit, so plan gift orders with that in mind. For orders to Canada, Australia or New Zealand, any import duties or taxes depend on the destination country. Full details live on our shipping and delivery page.
A grandfather ordering four family crew jerseys, two adult and two youth, for a summer lake trip can ship them straight to his daughter’s address in Canada. Enter her address as the shipping address at checkout, check the four names, and the parcel goes to her. Shipping is still free.
What stands behind every order
Our policies are written to be easy to read and easy to use. These are the numbers that apply to every product, personalised or not.
- 60-day returns. You have 60 days to return an item, including personalised jerseys. For change-of-mind returns we pay the return postage and send you a free return label. There is no restocking fee. See the returns and exchanges policy for the steps.
- Refunds within 7 days. Once we receive your return, the refund is issued within 7 days to your original payment method. Store credit is available on request and never expires. The refund policy covers the details.
- 24-hour change window. Email us within 24 hours of placing the order to cancel or to change a size, colourway or name. The cancel or change page explains what can still be changed.
- Help when something goes wrong. If a parcel is late, arrives damaged or the print is not what you ordered, email us with your order number and photos and we will help put it right.
- Clear payment. The payment methods shown at checkout are the ones available for your order. The payment methods page explains how payment works.
Photos you email us, for example of a problem with a print, are deleted 30 days after delivery. Our privacy policy explains what else we keep and why. Sales tax is not collected by the store at checkout, and our terms of service, governed by the law of North Carolina, set out the rest.
How to get the most from the store
A few habits make ordering smoother, especially for gifts and crew orders.
- Pick the collection by water or season first, then compare prints side by side on the shop page.
- Check the size against a shirt the wearer already owns. For a teen in youth XL who is close to an adult S, compare both against a current favourite before choosing.
- Type names exactly as they should appear, up to 14 letters, and look at the live preview before adding to cart.
- Decide on optional fields deliberately. Sleeve text, camp name and boat name each add the price shown next to them; lettering colour and trip year are free.
- For a crew order, add each person’s jersey separately so each name and size stays tied to the right shirt.
- Keep your order confirmation email. Its order number makes every support request faster.
Our FAQs answer the questions we hear most, and the help center groups every support page by topic.
